Coronado Island- Sunset on the Beach!

Christmas time at the Beach!!! We saw a family taking their family pictures on the beach and it was so cute, they all had shorts and tank tops on, beach wear, with scarves and they were all gathered around this little snow man. :) It brought a smile to our faces.


Ahhh YES! The beach at sunset is a favorite!! It was so so so beautiful! We obviously didn't do any kind of swimming but it was so fun to be there. The beach that we went to was on Coronado Island and the sand was just white and so clean!

Mmmm..... Love Road trips...

Oooo hooo hoooo! ROAD TRIP! :) We drove in Janell's car and we LOADED her car with our stuff. It was great! The drive was fast and fun. Gas is cheap so we stopped once, which was nice! We just blasted the music and sang and drove. FLYING DOWN THE HIGHWAY! Before we left for the trip we had actually told ourselves that we were going to get a picture on the side of the highway next to the "Welcome to California" sign and when we were driving we actually passed it and obviously couldn't back up on the highway... so we all got out and in our slippers and flip flops we ran back a mile back to take some pictures at the sign....We're making some great memories!!

We loved this house. It's just so cute and quaint.... with the cobblestone streets and street lights and OF COURSE the fall leaves surrounding it....wonderful.

My GOODNESS! The color of the leaves in San Diego this time of year are amazing. Kind of breath taking actually. They were so beautiful! We drove around to some random homes that were super cute and fun and just hung out enjoying the weather, the leaves, the atmosphere; it was fantastic! The first picture of the single leaf on the cobblestone is a favorite! It was so GORGEOUS and Sarah and I are suckers for cobblestone streets. If we could live someplace where there were cobblestone streets and beautiful ligh posts lining the streets then we'd be there in an instant!

Downtown California..Day 1 :)

So we drove to California on Thursday night at about 8:00 after Sarah and I got done taking our last final and we didn't get into San Diego until about 1:30/2 ish so we actually slept in until about 10:00 on Friday morning. BUT...once we did get up, we went around downtown to a ton of different fun sites and did some window shopping (just with our eyes, not our wallets :)) It was a lot of fun! We actually spent a lot of the time taking really fun, crazy pictures.

Trip to California with ROOMIES :)

ALRIGHT! So... we were fortunate enough to be able to go to San Diego with some roommates of ours and stay in a very nice resort for FREE! (one of the girls' mom has a timeshare there) so on the 19, 20 and 21 of December, my roommates Janell and Elisha and Sarah and I all went to San Diego! It was a very good time!
