.....

Catie cut her hair... it was super randomn and spontaneous which is so unlike Catie. It's super cute! Oh... and the picture of the tree and the person lying under it was just excellent. We were at the park playing basketball one day and this person was just napping under this beautiful tree and we couldn't help ourselves.

Sunday Picnicking.... ah... yes!

After excellent Sunday meetings, we came home last Sunday...to an overcast sky and Janell, our roommate suggested that we prepare some sandwiches and things and have a picnick at the temple... So... we did just that. It was beautiful out... we had a nice lunch, and had some time afterward to read our scriptures and write in our journals... So fun!

Red Rover! Red Rover! Send Callyssa right over!

Red Rover was the best part. Besides Leah's delicious Strawberry and Chocolate Ice-cream cake of course. The kids had a fun time with Red Rover for sure... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLYSSA! We love you!

Callyssa's BIRTHDAY!!!

Callyssa turned 5 this last sunday (along with Joshua... only he turned a couple years older:)... and she had her birthday party on Valentines Day, Saturday the 14th. Savanna was in charge of games and she did such a good job. They had a treasure hunt, went bowling with cups and rocks, played red rover and some other fun things. (There are a couple that are from babysitting the night before- they were too cute to leave out:)

Girls Night Out... oh and Jared!

So Bekah came back down later in the week so she could see and spend time with the girls and their families before leaving again... so Leah and Julia arranged for the guys to watch the kids so that we could go out and spend some time with eachother. It was so much fun. We went to a fun store named Hobby Lobby first... and then we went to ROSS and we probably had too much there. It was definitely a successful stop... cute clotes for Great buys! LOVE ROSS... you have to! Then we headed back to Leah's house to make and decorate sugar cookies for Valentines day. Jared popped in and hung out with us for a little while, it was a good time. We didn't go home until like midnight, but... we loved every minute of it... and.... we missed Mom, Anna, Lisa, Laci, and Sonia! We would have loved for you all to have been there. That just means we need to plan a Girls Trip one of these days!

I personally feel really good about the jeans.

Here she comes!

Rebekah flew in from Costa Rica on February 6th, and lucky us... WE GOT TO PICK HER UP! She stayed with us that night, we brought her home and she took a warm shower which apparantly she hadn't had since she left because they didn't have hot water there,so it was fun hearing her scream with Joy during her whole shower. :)Then we picked up something for dinner and picnicked at the temple. We just visited and enjoyed having her home. It was so unbelievably good to see her. She kept saying stuff like, "I am SO grateful for the United States. It's so amazing, we are so lucky!" :)
When we went home that weekend for Risa Anderson's wedding, Jared and Laci came over to the house and after much begging we got Bekah to give us all a lesson in Salsa Dancing, using Jared as her dance partner. I wish I had the video, but I don't.
Anyways, it was really fun to be able to see her for a while. While we were home, Mom got back from Utah and with her, she brough Orange and Cinnamon Sweet Rolls from Shirley's Bakery in Utah... mmmmm. They were a HUGE hit with everyone! Thanks mom!:)

Take a gander...

It doesn't get much better than this... it really doesn't. Oh man! We miss them so much already!

Peek-a-boo!!! She is absolutley adorable... Infact, THAT.... is an understatement.

All three of the girls were so cute when we were in the kitchen, they always wanted to be in there helping with whatever we were doing. :)

Eva LOVES books... so it worked out nice because we happen to LOVE reading books to our neices and nephews!

The night before we left Joseph was so sweet and he took us up on the incline and showed us the city of Pittsburgh at night. It was sure beautiful, and was just so fun! It was a fun memory... for sure.

PITTSBURGH!!!

We were SO lucky to be able to go to Pittsburgh this last month. We went for 8 days in mid January hoping that Lisa would have the twins and we could be there with the girls during her delivery and just be of some help while they were just starting out... However, the babies didn't come, BUT.... we got to spend a whole week with Joseph, Lisa, Kiah, Malea and Eva!... and it was a BLAST! and we couldn't have asked for a better time. The weather in Pittsburgh was freezing and beautiful, a refreshing break from the already "sweating the moment you walk outside" Mesa, AZ. We arrived late on Friday night, and the next morning we were awaken by three adorable little girls. We couldn't believe how grown up they all are. Especially Kiah. She is so much like Lisa, so mature in her conversation. :) Malea is just Joseph to the T still and EVA is just a fireball of personality. It was fun to just be there with them and help out where we could... it's not always easy seeing family that lives across the nation so it was a fun treat to even be able to go. (thanks mom for the help :) Anyways, above is a slideshow of our trip.... if I can get it to work... otherwise, you'll see the pics...

and you thought we were done... but no no.

The following are just a few more pictures that we simply couldn't leave out. ................

This is my dream car.... I love it. Only in black would be ideal.

So Beautiful. We loved the snow covered mountains

Jordan is so OLD! ahhgah!
Tarah is extremely concerned that she looks like a cancer patient in this photo, so as to comfort her, we should have you all know we are both in good health... and still smiling.
It would appear as if we are locked up... but we assure you, we are not.
Lately Tarah has had this anxiety around people she doesn't know. This is seriously how she was during every elevator ride. I had to pry her out of the corner after everyone got off. She just.... (sigh) I don't know... We need to figure it out. We're working on breaking her out of her shell. But shoot.... if you know her, forget that! She's a MEAN conversationist!...
Just another concern regarding my beloved sister Tarah. I think she's becoming an herbivore. :)

CAST SIGNING PARTY!

Even I cannot explain her [tarah's] behavior sometimes.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" ..... "AN AIRPLANE!" HA! I just love this picture. It speaks for itself. Okay Okay I'll explain... It was like NEGATIVE degrees outside and my dad is wearing shorts. PUH!

CHRISTMAS IN UTAH!

So..........we were lucky enough this year to spend Christmas in Utah with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a good time... We got to see Aunt Lori and her family, Uncle Kyle and his family, AND... uncle Todd and his family. Sweet grandpa was in the hospital the entire time from his foot surgery... but it was neat that we could all be there with him and grandma. He improved A TON just in the short time we were there. . . and we're so glad for it. :) We had a lot of fun with him.... and ask apparantly, Grandpa's quite the cheater when it comes to chess. (ask Jordan, he'll attest)

While we were there we stayed at a resort, a sheraton in Salt Lake... we were close to the Temple and one night we went and saw the Christmas presentations they were having and just enjoyed the lights as a family. It was beautiful.

Obviously, it was snowing and just beautifully white the entire time we were there, so..... seeing how we are Arizona birds and rarely get to see such things, we took advantage of it and made a snowwoman while we were there. It was in the courtyard of our hotel, which isn't quite as cool, but it was still excellent there's no doubt about that.
Tarah was especially excited about the snow woman that she pretty much built. ha ha... so... we had to take a plethora of pictures... naturally. You understand.
